GSR DCM Collaboration Session

As you likely know, the General Service Conference is coming up in May.   The groups and thus the GSRs and DCMs play a key role in preparing for this conference!   We are trying to do more and better in helping you to help our Delegate to prepare.

Our Alternate Delegate, Donna W, reached out and asked if she can come be the guest speaker for the March 4th GSR DCM Collaboration session in preparation for the April Assembly.  Motions are not covered at the April Assembly, rather input is gathered from the body for the Proposed Agenda Items, and that input comes from you who represent the groups!

We gratefully accepted her offer!  She will be covering the following:

Brief history of the General Service Conference
What the A.A. Service Manual says about the Conference
The GSR’s vital role in serving as the link between their groups and A.A. as a whole
The difference between Conference agenda items and motions at the district/area level
Examples of Proposed Agenda Items that have been forwarded to the Conference
Timeline of opportunities for GSRs to be involved
Suggestions for how GSRs can present agenda items/background to their groups
