The SSAASA 6 Committee would like to thank everyone for their participation with early registration, volunteering, scholarships, and overall involvement with SSAASA 6. We would also like to thank everyone that took part in our SSAASA 6 survey.
After reviewing the survey results and other data, the SSAASA steering committee unanimously agreed it would be best to make SSAASA 6 a virtual event. We feel this will maximize participation and allow those who, at this time, are not comfortable traveling or being around others in order to join in this event. The Tampa Airport Marriott has agreed to let us out of our contract penalty free. They will be sending out cancelation notifications for all who have room reservations.
We are working with our credit card merchant to sort out the owed processing fees and other return fees involved with refunds so please be patient with us regarding registration refunds. If you would like to contribute your registration, it will be used to cover the expenses for the Virtual event. Please keep checking the SSAASA 6 website ssaasa6.org and your email for updates. Everyone attending the virtual event will need to be registered. We will be working on this over the next month up until the event date. The SSAASA 6 event will still take place November 19th-21st, 2021, so please share this information with your Area’s, District’s, Groups, and members. We are sorry for the inconvenience but also very grateful that we are able to host a virtual event for all to attend.
